An Expressive and Innovative Mixed Media Art Ezine for Paper Crafters, Collage and Assemblage Artists

Worth A Second Look

Pretty creations never loose their appeal and we thought you would enjoy a second look at some of our lovely Christmas projects from past challenges when Art With No Boundaries was still a Challenge blog.

The Joy of Angeline
by Chris Stern / CS Designs

I created this sweet little Christmas Art Tag as a gift for my Daughter last Christmas and at that time it was also featured on the  Christmas challenge on Art With No Boundaries.  Because this is such a lovely tag and fits the Holiday Spirit, I thought I would share it again for those of you who might have missed it the first time around.

The main focal point is the sweet and spunky Angeline and the sentiment if from the Designer Christmas Sentiment Collection 1. Both designs are from CS Designs.

Little Angeline and the star on the sentiment have both been colored with Pirsmacolor pencils and blended with odorless turpentine using paper stumps. The Green layer has been embossed with the Cuttlebug Polk-a-Dot embossing template and the long beads attached to the red and green fibers are hand rolled paper and match the second layer of the tag. The white satin flower with the pearls in the center is also hand made. Some of the other materials sued can be found directly below.

Materials List:
The digital stamp designs used for the Joy of Angeline Art Tag can be found in the CS Designs Christmas Digital Stamp Collection.
